A weekly, facilitated program where youth ages 11-18 who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ and their allies can meet supportive peers in a safe environment. Etcetera offers social activities, empowering discussions and special events.

Friends of Dorothy (FoD) is a weekly, drop-in, social group for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth ages 12 to 24. We provide a space for youth to safely explore identity, connect with and be supported by peers, and get creative.

Kristin Trotter (she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who specializes in gender, sexuality, and sexual health. Catherine Trueman (she/her) is a Parent Advocate and proud parent of a transgender son. Together they founded Sea 2 Sky Allies in 2019. Sea 2 Sky Allies aims to provide support, education, and resources, as well as build community among parents, caregivers, and allies of 2SLGBTQ+ individuals and families.

The Q+ Crew is a peer support program for LGBTQ+ Immigrants, Refugees, and Racialized Canadians. We build belonging, connection, and support through activities, food, fun, and sharing information. We focus on developing skills for resilient mental health and navigating settlement journeys. Particpants also have access to free counselling sessions through Marigold Counselling.

Weekly social and meal program held in-person for trans, Two-Spirit, non-binary, and gender-diserve persons who have experience in sex work.

This is a virtual peer support group run weekly for trans, non-binary, and two spirit sex workers on Zoom in the local area. People with current or former experience are welcome. Participants can access general community drop-in services for meals and other assistance as well. We also hold occasional community gathering events.

TransParent is a non-profit society developed by and for parents and caregivers of trans, gender diverse, and two-spirit people in the Okanagan. We host monthly facilitated in-person support meetings for parents, as well as family social events, guest speakers and educational opportunities. We also moderate and maintain a closed online support group and act as advocates on behalf of families. We provide educational workshops and speak to classes, organizations, and media. We maintain a lending library of books, videos, and other resources to support families.

Trans Peer support is a free peer led community based social support service run by volunteers with lived experience. Our volunteers and those we support represent Trans, Gender diverse, and Two-Spirit individuals ages 12 and over. We offer 1-1 virtual peer support and monthly in-person socials.
